Troubleshooting

1. My access key won't work. If the key does not work when you first attempt to install the program:

First, make sure that you have entered the key exactly as it is printed with both lower and upper case letters. Next, check your access key to see if there are any small 'L' s or capital 'i' s or number ones (1). These characters are similar and can be easily confused. The number zero and capital 'O' characters can also be mistaken for each other.

If the key does not work later on when you are trying to access certain sections of the NMS: If your key does not work at this time it is likely that you are attempting to access a section that you have not purchased. To check what you have purchased or to purchase further sections please contact your supplier.

2. Is it possible to change font size and style in NMS-Edit or does it have to be exported to Word?

NMS-Edit has a feature to be able to PRINT in proportional fonts. However, when you change a font to, for example, Times Roman, the screen front will remain Courier. To change the font, then, edit your sections as usual then change the font in each section and print. Change the font back if you will be editing again.

To print the entire project in a proportional font use, for example, the TIMES.EXC execute file from the project menu, then PRINT ALL, then run COURIER.EXC from the project menu again to return all sections to the courier font.
